We got into the kitty business by trapping feral cats to be fixed. Good intentions had unexpected consequences.
Five kittens came out after we trapped their mother. 3 of 5 survived. Found these two good homes. Kept the black one, Daisy, Dark Daisy, or just Deedee.
Potted dwarf Dahlia.
One of the 2 mums that survived over last winter.
Petey wouldn't turn over a stool. See that innocent look.
Sidney posing as he does so well.
Sid and Petey can't believe the bad black cat luck.
Cody and new Daisy get along pretty well.
We worked over these cabinets in November, replacing doors with 5 piece ash doors. Had to stain and lacquer the new doors.
The "before" picture. We had expected a match to the kitchen cabinets we got 30 years ago in Bella Vista, AR. These are 26 years old.
This is after we replaced the flat ash plywood doors with "raised panel" doors from local cabinet shop.
Second "after" pic. Looks easy now. Used a $17 spray gun from Harbor Freight to do the lacquer.
Daisy on 1 Dec. Now almost 4 lbs. Quite a change.
One last cabinet door set. Replaced plywood doors with painted maple 5 piece doors.
